Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Abram Sarmiento started the match with the kick off. Richard Nixon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Manzanares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. A collision led to Colombia getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Kevin Mastache hit a great ball. In the 10th minute, Richard Nixon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SV Klingsmoos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 15 minutes into the game, SV Klingsmoos's Torsten Henning nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Manzanares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torsten Henning in the 21st minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Colombia booed when SV Klingsmoos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vicente Bejarano didn't get a good kick on the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Richard Nixon came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Richard Nixon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anselmo Valentine recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kevin Mastache made in the 31st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by SV Klingsmoos's Che Doderer. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Richard Nixon in the 34th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, SV Klingsmoos's Richard Nixon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Manzanares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Colombia's zone, Richard Nixon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal and Richard Nixon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, SV Klingsmoos's Torsten Henning got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Berthold Bach made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santino Seco in the 46th minute of play. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Richard Nixon was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Torsten Henning shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anselmo Valentine's late challenge caught a Colombia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anselmo Valentine helped the player get up and apologised. In the 54th match minute, SV Klingsmoos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anselmo Valentine to maneuver through the defense. SV Klingsmoos's Erik Amend was substituted for Anselmo Valentine. Anselmo Valentine kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. SV Klingsmoos's Berthold Bach played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Montenegro in the 56th minute of play. Axel Montenegro scored 2-2 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Berthold Bach, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Axel Montenegro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Berthold Bach read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. In the 64th minute of the match Colombia got a corner. SV Klingsmoos's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Axel Montenegro ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Luis Cazalla heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Berthold Bach made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Cazalla in the 65th minute of play. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Richard Nixon in the 67th minute of play. Berthold Bach showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kevin Mastache, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. SV Klingsmoos's David Lebon was substituted for Torsten Henning. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. Colombia made a substitution. Ignacio Mastache replaced Abram Sarmiento. In the 71st minute of the match Colombia got a corner. SV Klingsmoos's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kevin Mastache ran over to the corner to take the kick. A collision led to SV Klingsmoos getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Börje Bührer hit a great ball. Richard Nixon might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedro Manzanares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Richard Nixon ran back to his position shaking his head. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Colombia from getting a goal against them. When Richard Nixon came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the SV Klingsmoos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Richard Nixon couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling David Lebon in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Manzanares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Richard Nixon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Pedro Manzanares made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Colombia's Abram Secada got a free kick in the 91st minute. Richard Nixon's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 93rdth minute, Pedro Manzanares skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 93rd minute, Börje Bührer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 95th minute David Lebon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
