In the 9th minute Marcus Batista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jackie Tan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 14thth minute tested the skills of Joaquin Gayoso when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jackie Tans short, quick shot in the 14thth minute got Joaquin Gayoso to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Francisco Seco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kong Gang Zhan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. In the 21stth minute of the game Marcus Batista who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had been going on for 39 minutes, Cremonese FC's Krzysztof Jaraczeski got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Joaquin Gayoso. Kong Gang Zhan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Seco in the 42nd minute of the match. Lino Valladares made in the 43rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Yasar Bonnemain immediately put the ball in play. Kong Gang Zhan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The supporters of Uruguay booed when Cremonese FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felipe Branco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maximiliano Escribano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 57th minute, Kevin Carballal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 60th minute, Francisco Seco reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Kong Gang Zhan. The goal made the score 2-2. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcus Batista in the 66th minute of play. With a little luck, Cremonese FC's Kong Gang Zhan got control of the ball when Francisco Seco tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 71st minute, Afiz Cho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 74th minute, Yasar Bonnemain hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Maximiliano Escribano fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Uruguay's protests and gave Maximiliano Escribano a yellow card for diving instead. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
