Jonathan Venegas hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. 23 minutes into the match, Fotis Melas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fotis Melas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Fotis Melas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Theagenis Giannou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jose Correa, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Lipochσrion FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jose Correa came free, but Theagenis Giannou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fotis Melas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. When Necat Baysal came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Lipochσrion FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Necat Baysal couldn't finish the play. Necat Baysal might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Necat Baysal ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Lipochσrion FC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Necat Baysal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fotis Melas to make the kick off. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Necat Baysal in the 80th minute of play. After taking down the ball on Lipochσrion FC's corner Emrah Alatay fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jonathan Ferrant quite easily take care of the ball. 82 minutes into the game, Evripidis Frantzeskos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lipochσrion FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. Evripidis Frantzeskos hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Lipochσrion FC fully deserved thier win.
