The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Lautaro Mancebo might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maximino Cesario. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lautaro Mancebo ran back to his position shaking his head. La masia's Maximino Cesario proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save La masia from getting a goal against them. In the 15th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Facundo Cadaval to maneuver through the defense. After 16 minutes, Wes Lieckens made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Mexico's Dante Lacasa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maximino Cesario made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Georg Gustavsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Maximino Cesario in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Georg Gustavsson to strike the kick off in the second half. Maximino Cesario showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 53rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in La masia's zone, Lautaro Mancebo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maximino Cesario came out of the goal and Lautaro Mancebo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Maximino Cesario showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 57th minute of the match. The supporters of Mexico booed when La masia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dominic Langendonck didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, La masia's Dante Lacasa threw himself towards the right post 67 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sam Hartlang, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 68 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Wes Lieckens came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kent Stuckens, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Joel Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Maximino Cesario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 81 minutes into the match, Lautaro Mancebo notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of La masia's Maximino Cesario. Maximino Cesario was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. La masia's Maximino Cesario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 86th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, La masia's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Maximino Cesario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lautaro Mancebo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mexico's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
