El Kiwy Mecanico's Hermelando Rey proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save El Kiwy Mecanico from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Finlay Stair got free with Hermelando Rey in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karlus Waugh in the 44th minute of play forced El Kiwy Mecanico's goalkeeper Hermelando Rey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hermelando Rey made an important save on a dangerous shot by Finlay Stair in the 45th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Finlay Stair stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Romon Oliver kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Demonde Jacobson was a little too slow when Juan-Alfredo Vuelta got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 95th minute. The score was now 0-2. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched El Kiwy Mecanico eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
