Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Venezuela's Tomas Illescas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Corneliu Zubaşcu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Grigore Arbore's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jonathan Ferrant firmly grabbed it by the left post. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. FC Csíkszereda walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
