Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) If Lautaro Puig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 8th minute, Lautaro Puig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Benknotorna's zone, Axel Tasis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arvin Ekerot came out of the goal and Axel Tasis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 16 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's Axel Tasis broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 21st minute Geraldo Trullols shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benknotorna's Kenneth Majman got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 26 minutes into the match, Benknotorna's goalkeeper Arvin Ekerot had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Axel Tasis. Eliseo Noboa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 28th minute, Abel Carballo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benknotorna's Arvin Ekerot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Tasis in the 42nd minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kurt Bure to make the kick off. Juan Rubio hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Benito Sanz was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Gustav Siöberg. After some careless play in the Benknotorna defense, Axel Tasis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arvin Ekerot. The Benknotorna fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arvin Ekerot should have stopped the shot. Arvin Ekerot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Tasis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st minute Olof Forsberg suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. 61 minutes into the game, Eliseo Noboa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Benknotorna the free kick. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Eliseo Noboa hit a great ball. Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Geraldo Trullols sent off a good shot on target. In the 67th minute, Kenneth Majman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. When Lautaro Puig fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Lautaro Puig a yellow card for diving instead. Lautaro Puig hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. 77 minutes into the match, Benknotorna's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Tasis came free, but Arvin Ekerot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Geraldo Trullols sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A very good chance. 95 minutes into the match, Benknotorna's Geraldo Trullols sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benito Sanz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Benknotorna were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
