Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 宋傲远, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If 沈迪志 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 16 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when 沈迪志 came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cylon were furious when 马远银 was red carded, 20 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 20th minute, 马远银 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jaime Cazalla took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised 林城谦. 林城谦 dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After having played for 24 minutes, Alberto Gisbert managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francisco Seco got free with 林城谦 in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After the first half Cylon were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when 沈迪志 made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 55th minute of play forced Cylon's goalkeeper 林城谦 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cylon's 林城谦 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Seco in the 57th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 59th minute of play forced Cylon's goalkeeper 林城谦 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maximiliano Escribano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cylon's 潘悦希 was substituted for 庞桦景. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Seco in the 69th minute of play forced Cylon's goalkeeper 林城谦 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso got control of the ball when 沈迪志 tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Cylon booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Gisbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 88th minute, 沈迪志 made a precise shot to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Uruguay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. A collision led to Cylon getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. 曲冰卫 hit a great ball. Maximiliano Escribano took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised 林城谦. 林城谦 dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4.
