Daniel Elsens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 6th match minute, Waterhoek was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacques Buyck to maneuver through the defense. After 8 minutes of play, Bolivia's Mario Fernandino made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dylan Van den Broeck was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bolivia were furious when Alejandro Villa was red carded, 13 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. A collision led to Bolivia getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Alejandro Villa hit a great ball. Dylan Van den Broeck made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Eduardo Fontirroig sent off a good shot on target. In the 29th match minute, Bolivia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mario Fernandino to maneuver through the defense. When Mike Kustermans fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Waterhoek's protests and gave Mike Kustermans a yellow card for diving instead. In the 31st minute, Mike Kustermans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Waterhoek's Mike Kustermans got a free kick in the 35th minute. Alfredo Ferrant sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 47th minute, Waterhoek's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Eduardo Fontirroig fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

53 minutes into the match, Waterhoek's goal looked a bit too open when Eduardo Fontirroig came free, but Dylan Van den Broeck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 59 minutes into the game, Daniel Elsens cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Camilo Freixa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 64 minutes into the match, Julio Chicote had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dylan Van den Broeck. Waterhoek's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julio Chicote was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Ismael Tejedor made in the 73rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Waterhoek's Oswald Rymenans. Daniel Elsens could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Camilo Freixa made a huge save. Bolivia's Alfonso de la Cruz got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 82nd minute, Alfonso de la Cruz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bolivia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Alfonso de la Cruz struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Dylan Van den Broeck didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bolivia. Bolivia's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
