Daniel Zorita stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Mustafa Haydar Yalaz. 0-3. 44 minutes into the match, Raaojen's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Mustafa Haydar Yalaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mustafa Haydar Yalaz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Mustafa Haydar Yalaz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the Raaojen defense, Felix Montenegro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mustafa Haydar Yalaz. The Raaojen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mustafa Haydar Yalaz should have stopped the shot. Guaberto George kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the game, Luis Andino recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mustafa Haydar Yalaz. Luis Andino showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. With a little luck, Raaojen's Mustafa Haydar Yalaz got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Raaojen's Mustafa Haydar Yalaz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Raaojen from getting a goal against them. Arnulfo Bastiaro hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. The supporters of Raaojen booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. In the 95th minute, one of Raaojen:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Raaojen. Ecuador played a much better game than Raaojen and deserved their victory. The Raaojen players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
