Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Axel Tasis kicked off to start the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Eliseo Noboa kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Kevin Amado. That made the score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. In the 7th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lautaro Puig to maneuver through the defense. If Eliseo Noboa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serbülent Durualp in the 19th minute of play. When Lautaro Puig fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Lautaro Puig a yellow card for diving instead. After 24 minutes of play, Costa Rica's Alan Moruga made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kevin Amado was left in no man's land by his defense there! Denizli were furious when Dündar Akduman was red carded, 31 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Denizli:s Kevin Amado showed great skill when he stopped Axel Tasis:s penalty. Kerim Ötüken scored 2-1 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Eliseo Noboa hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gürhan Onurhan made a kick off. Kevin Amado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Puig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 52 minutes into the match, Denizli's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Puig came free, but Kevin Amado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 54 minutes into the match, Vedat Bedel notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 60 minutes into the match, Denizli's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Noboa came free, but Kevin Amado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Kerim Ötüken sent off a good shot on target. Axel Tasis took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kevin Amado. Kevin Amado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. 75 minutes into the match, Denizli's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Puig came free, but Kevin Amado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Abel Carballo got a free kick in the 76th minute. Vedat Bedel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benito Sanz having to make a save. Batıray Kadıoğlu hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Kevin Amado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aaron Alcocer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th minute, Sadettin Uzcan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 89th play minute Kerim Ötüken came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Benito Sanz. 3-3. Kerim Ötüken sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
