With a little luck, VILLARREAL UNITED's Frodo Hernandez got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 38th play minutes Joel Gaona shot 7-0, a short shot which went by Frodo Hernandez and just under the crossbar into goal. The Mexico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 14-0. After a defensive mix-up in VILLARREAL UNITED's zone, Alberto Tafalla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frodo Hernandez came out of the goal and Alberto Tafalla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Mexico fully deserved thier win.
