Eric Hjortsberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Manzanares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Carlos Carioca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Colombia from getting a goal against them. Abram Sarmiento scored 1-2 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carlos Carioca, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 67 played minutes Colombia got a freekick which was hit by Abram Sarmiento. IGUIPORÃ FC made a substitution. He Shi Yu replaced Adriano Alagoano. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eric Hjortsberg in the 72nd minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Eric Hjortsberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. IGUIPORÃ FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eric Hjortsberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Manzanares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Eric Hjortsberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Manzanares was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. After 80 played minutes Colombia got a freekick which was hit by Pascual Carballar. The supporters of IGUIPORÃ FC booed when Colombia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pascual Carballar didn't get a good kick on the ball. João Adolfo Goiano scored 6-2 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Manzanares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by IGUIPORÃ FC's João Adolfo Goiano. But to his dismay, João Adolfo Goiano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignacio Mastache in the 93rd minute of play forced IGUIPORÃ FC's goalkeeper Carlos Carioca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 97th minute Luiz Paulo Chaves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. IGUIPORÃ FC fully deserved thier win.
