The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 4th minute of play forced FCF north's goalkeeper Chris Tinselboer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 5 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Xie Yan came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Montes to maneuver through the defense. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xie Yan, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. After 30 minutes FCF north's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Jonathan Steelman's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonathan Steelman helped the player get up and apologised. After 30 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FCF north! After a rather tough play, FCF north's Donald Hoiting got a free kick in the 35th minute. Arcan Çapan in the 47thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xie Yan in the 72nd minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, FCF north's goalkeeper Chris Tinselboer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felix Montenegro. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Chris Tinselboer quite easily take care of the ball. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Chris Tinselboer made a huge save. Chris Tinselboer made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Felix Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. Donald Hoiting kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Chris Tinselboer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 85th minute of play. FCF north's Chris Tinselboer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save FCF north from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Agustín Saelices during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 90 minutes, Mazinho Alcântara mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FCF north and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, FCF north's Mazinho Alcântara got a free kick in the 90th minute. Donald Hoiting helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Ecuador booed when FCF north was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donald Hoiting didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Chris Tinselboer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Ecuador played a much better game than FCF north and deserved their victory. The FCF north players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
