Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 minutes, Son Bomberg made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Ecuador's Julio Vera tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Agustín Saelices kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Noh Gol. That made the score 1-1 in the 8 minute of play. In the 12th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Noh Gol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Son Bomberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Son Bomberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Corneliu Stănoiu hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. When Fotbal Club Brasovia's Emanuel Balaci in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. 24 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Villiam Alströmmer came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Fotbal Club Brasovia's Son Bomberg in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Noh Gol read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Fotbal Club Brasovia's Noh Gol. Noh Gol was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet as Daniel Zorita kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Noh Gol. That made the score 3-1 in the 36 minute of play. The supporters of Fotbal Club Brasovia booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Arias didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fotbal Club Brasovia's Emanuel Balaci couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 40th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Ecuador. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th minute Son Bomberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Noh Gol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Son Bomberg made a kick off. Noh Gol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 54th minute of play. 56 minutes into the game, Son Bomberg lined in a short shot 3-2 behind a frustrated Julio Vera. 58 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Noh Gol made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Son Bomberg in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cristian Sancho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Noh Gol having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 66th minute of play forced Fotbal Club Brasovia's goalkeeper Noh Gol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristian Sancho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Noh Gol having to make a save. Son Bomberg took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-3. In the 87th minute, Luis Andino had to leave the field with a concussion. After 87 minutes, Vintilă Tolea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fotbal Club Brasovia and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 89th minute, Vintilă Tolea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 91 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Villiam Alströmmer. A hard shot 92 in the game by Son Bomberg from a close distance when the talented Julio Vera managed to make a qualified save. Ecuador's players were relieved. Ecuador walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
