The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jaime Pardo to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes of play DARAS's Nano Mitrashkov was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, DARAS's Nano Mitrashkov got a free kick in the 52nd minute. A collision led to Paraguay getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Juan Diego Tenorio hit a great ball. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. DARAS's Paolo Rossi was substituted for Toni Nenchev. Dragan Mangezov took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 70th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jacobo Nores. Paraguay's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Paolo Rossi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 74th match minute, DARAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paolo Rossi to maneuver through the defense. Hector Covarrubias hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. When Paolo Rossi came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the DARAS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paolo Rossi couldn't finish the play. 87 minutes into the game, Nedyalko Berberov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. DARAS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Paraguay the free kick. A collision led to DARAS getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Nedyalko Berberov hit a great ball. Jaime Pardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After recieving a nice pass, DARAS's Volodya Biradzhiev tried to score from far away in the 91st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 2-0 became the score in the 94th minute when Paolo Rossi elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When the referee blew the final whistle, DARAS could leave the field as winners, despite Paraguay having more of the ball for most of the match.
