The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Joaquin Gayoso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Boguslaw Golaszewski went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Doncho Bogoev in the 10th minute of the match. The Rodborough fans' excitement grew in the 11th match minute when Rodborough's Doncho Bogoev looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doncho Bogoev in the 14th minute of play. In the 24thth minute of the game Doncho Bogoev who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 24 minutes into the game, Francisco Seco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Uruguay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rodborough the free kick. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Francisco Seco hit a great ball. After 27 played minutes Rodborough got a freekick which was hit by Liu Ping Di. The audience was convinced that Boguslaw Golaszewski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joaquin Gayoso was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Rodborough's Jagger Kaine proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Rodborough from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Rodborough booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Beldad didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35th minute of the match Hette Lans shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joaquin Gayoso showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Doncho Bogoev in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquin Gayoso saved Uruguay from getting behind. An unexpected shot in the 40th minute by Francisco Seco got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Boguslaw Golaszewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Francisco Seco's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 48thth minute, Jagger Kaine skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

After some careless play in the Rodborough defense, Francisco Seco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jagger Kaine. The Rodborough fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jagger Kaine should have stopped the shot. Doncho Bogoev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Gayoso having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Eddy Odd left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rodborough fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Rodborough eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
