Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) After having played for 4 minutes, Agustín Saelices managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Agustín Saelices was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 10th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adan Rafel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luis Andino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adan Rafel having to interfere. Cristian Sancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adan Rafel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Sancho ran back to his position shaking his head. Adan Rafel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 21st minute of play. In the 24th minute Epigonoi Kouches shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Adan Rafel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 32 minutes into the match, bicho colorado's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Adan Rafel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adan Rafel having to interfere. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them.

When bicho colorado's Diego Rotondi in the 51st minute got a chance for a shot 51st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Celedonio Omero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. When Felix Montenegro came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felix Montenegro couldn't finish the play. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Epigonoi Kouches in the 62nd minute of play. In the 66th minute, bicho colorado's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Adan Rafel in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Agustín Saelices took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Adan Rafel to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Felix Montes hit a great ball. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Epigonoi Kouches in the 82nd minute of play. 89 minutes into the game, Epigonoi Kouches was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. bicho colorado's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
