Eric Păvăloae might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eric Păvăloae ran back to his position shaking his head. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eric Păvăloae in the 10th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eric Păvăloae went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eric Păvăloae in the 18th minute of the match. Ninjas in Pyjamas's Remus Pinatel managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Alex Chicote in the 21 minute of the game. Eric Păvăloae sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rareș Tatulici recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eric Păvăloae sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eric Păvăloae, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Eric Păvăloae blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eric Păvăloae in the 31st minute of play. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Ninjas in Pyjamas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remus Pinatel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Eric Păvăloae showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-0 in the 42 minute of play. Eric Păvăloae recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eric Păvăloae was the one to do the kick off. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Ninjas in Pyjamas's Eric Păvăloae. But to his dismay, Eric Păvăloae quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eric Păvăloae in the 55th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 60 minutes into the game, Eric Păvăloae cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 68 minutes into the game, Salvador Gisbert threw the ball into play from the sideline. Ninjas in Pyjamas's Remus Pinatel quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eric Păvăloae went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. Eric Păvăloae recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 76thth minute of the game Eric Păvăloae who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cai Yue Guang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Costa in the 77th minute of play. Venezuela's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tomas Illescas in the 78th minute. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Cai Yue Guang in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Alex Chicote hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. 83 minutes into the game, Ninjas in Pyjamas's Eric Păvăloae nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. 86 minutes into the match, Ninjas in Pyjamas's Eric Păvăloae sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 88 minutes into the match, Ninjas in Pyjamas's Eric Păvăloae sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ninjas in Pyjamas's Remus Pinatel quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Salvador Gisbert, made in the 95th minute of the game. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Ninjas in Pyjamas had played much better football throughout.
