Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Konstantin Lebedev, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Higinio Caradaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 8th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the match, Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Max Colvin. With his leg Pedro Manzanares managed to avoid a goal in the 11thth minute, when FC Rossoch's Nil Molchanov fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Colombia's Axel Montenegro managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Nil Molchanov in the 15 minute of the game. Axel Montenegro's late challenge caught a FC Rossoch's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Axel Montenegro helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Colombia's Axel Montenegro got a free kick in the 17th minute. In the 18th match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuel Navarro to maneuver through the defense. A long shot from Arkadiy Amfiteatrov in the 19th minute of play was well struck, but Pedro Manzanares made a really good save at the right post. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Max Colvin in the 21st minute of play. After some careless play in the Colombia defense, Max Colvin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Manzanares. The Colombia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Manzanares should have stopped the shot. Colombia's Antonio Indiano managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Polikarp Dovlatov in the 23 minute of the game. Axel Montenegro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Higinio Caradaro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Konstantin Lebedev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 33 minutes into the game, Nil Molchanov cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Pedro Manzanares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Colombia's Pedro Manzanares got control of the ball when Konstantin Lebedev tried to sneak it across the goal line. Higinio Caradaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Montenegro in the 37th minute of the match. After 38 played minutes Colombia got a freekick which was hit by Luis Cazalla. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nil Molchanov got free with Pedro Manzanares in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Joshua Garrido struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Higinio Caradaro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Colombia. 44 minutes into the match, Colombia's Axel Montenegro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Higinio Caradaro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 46 minutes into the match, FC Rossoch's goal looked a bit too open when Santino Seco came free, but Higinio Caradaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th minute, Abram Sarmiento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

FC Rossoch's Higinio Caradaro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save FC Rossoch from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, FC Rossoch's Vladimir Noskov got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Axel Montenegro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Abram Sarmiento managed to get in a good position for a shot. Colombia's supporters rose to their feet, but Abram Sarmiento was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Higinio Caradaro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Konstantin Lebedev in the 59th minute of play. Higinio Caradaro was a little too slow when Abram Sarmiento got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 64th minute. The score was now 2-1. Axel Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Higinio Caradaro made a huge save. 69 minutes into the game, Axel Montenegro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Higinio Caradaro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. Abram Secada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, FC Rossoch's Higinio Caradaro got control of the ball when Abram Secada tried to sneak it across the goal line. FC Rossoch made a substitution. Igor Loginov replaced Vladimir Noskov. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Rossoch's goalkeeper Higinio Caradaro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 94th minute, Ignacio Mastache left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Colombia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. The Colombia supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Colombia would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
