Waclaw Radziszewski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joaquin Gayoso having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Evandro Tróia in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquin Gayoso saved Uruguay from getting behind. In the 27th minute, Waclaw Radziszewski fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Joaquin Gayoso, passed just outside the right post. After 30 minutes, Evandro Tróia made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Evandro Tróia in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joaquin Gayoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Uruguay's Francisco Seco got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Camilo Covarrubias hit a great ball. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdir Viana, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. 41 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Evandro Tróia. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Evandro Tróia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Francisco Seco came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Uruguay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francisco Seco couldn't finish the play. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evandro Tróia in the 57th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Waclaw Radziszewski notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso. FC Oberschlesien made a substitution. Janusz Malewicz replaced Antoni Mentus. In the 76th minute of the match Valdir Viana shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joaquin Gayoso showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 78 minutes into the game, FC Oberschlesien's Evandro Tróia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC Oberschlesien.
