Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Penuel Football Club's Jorge-Luis Borges started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge-Luis Borges in the 5th minute of play. The supporters of Penuel Football Club booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Gisbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st minute of the match, Jorge-Luis Borges tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Joaquin Gayoso saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Through an outstanding action, after 38 minutes, Joaquin Gayoso successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 40th minute, Jorge-Luis Borges reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Joaquin Gayoso. The goal made the score 2-0. 44 minutes into the game, Eduardo Pires lined in a short shot 3-0 behind a frustrated Joaquin Gayoso. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge-Luis Borges in the 50th minute of play. Francisco Secos short, quick shot in the 52ndth minute got Epifanio Gabrio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 60 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge-Luis Borges came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Bruno Beldad's late challenge caught a Penuel Football Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bruno Beldad helped the player get up and apologised. 89 minutes into the game, one of Uruguay:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 90th minute there was a penalty for Penuel Football Club. Lizer Cordal stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Joaquin Gayoso. 8-0. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Penuel Football Club were awarded a corner in the 94th minute after Uruguay's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cecilio Hunfredo took the corner. The supporters of Uruguay booed when Penuel Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Corderall Nieves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Penuel Football Club were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Uruguay for a fine match.
