Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Kauan Santos made the kick off which started today's match. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Fala Sério FC's André Azevedo. But to his dismay, André Azevedo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 7 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Kauan Santos came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13th minute Kauan Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kauan Santos in the 19th minute of the match. Tomas Illescass short, quick shot in the 24thth minute got Afonsinho Marques to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience was convinced that Tomas Illescas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Afonsinho Marques was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. André Azevedo struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fala Sério FC. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Afonsinho Marques having to make a save. Pedro Moraes took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After the first half Fala Sério FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After having played for 51 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Venezuela's Jose Correa quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Benê Aguiar, made in the 59th minute of the game. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alex Chicote was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 69 minutes into the match. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Raimundo Pernambucano sent off a good shot on target. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 88th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Patricio Costa during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The Fala Sério FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
