It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Osvaldo Otsoko kicked off to start the match. Dries Ramps showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 2nd minute. In the 4th minute Francisco Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dries Ramps saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dries Ramps made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Seco in the 7th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 8th minute of play forced IFK Stockholm's goalkeeper Dries Ramps to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dries Ramps made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Gisbert in the 12th minute of play. Dries Ramps showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Arturo Carvallo hit a great ball. In the 16th minute, Osvaldo Otsoko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 17 minutes into the game, Anton Kvarnström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. IFK Stockholm's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Uruguay the free kick. Dries Ramps took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Gisbert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dries Ramps made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Seco in the 19th minute of play. Dries Ramps showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Gisbert, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Jorge Sainz made in the 25th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Francisco Seco however managed to control. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 26th minute of play forced IFK Stockholm's goalkeeper Dries Ramps to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the IFK Stockholm defense, Francisco Seco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dries Ramps. The IFK Stockholm fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dries Ramps should have stopped the shot. 34 minutes into the game, Francisco Seco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Dries Ramps was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Uruguay from getting a goal against them. In the 41st minute Francisco Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dries Ramps saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to IFK Stockholm getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Felix Wallin hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Francisco Seco in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dries Ramps prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Francisco Seco to make the kick off. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvaldo Otsoko, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Dries Ramps showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 52nd minute of the match. Francisco Seco's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 53rdth minute, Dries Ramps skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Bertil Andreasson kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. In the 56th minute, Uruguay's Maximiliano Escribano ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dries Ramps. Dries Ramps yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. With his leg Dries Ramps managed to avoid a goal in the 59thth minute, when Uruguay's Maximiliano Escribano fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 60th minute Uruguay were awarded a corner. Jaime Cazalla went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Alberto Gisbert managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. A collision led to IFK Stockholm getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Felix Wallin hit a great ball. Felix Wallin charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Felix Wallin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Francisco Seco came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Uruguay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francisco Seco couldn't finish the play. In the 70th minute IFK Stockholm were awarded a corner. Simon Ek went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led IFK Stockholm's Simon Ek to fire away a dangerous shot which Joaquin Gayoso despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Maximiliano Escribano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Dries Ramps made a huge save. Dries Ramps took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime Cazalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dries Ramps made an important save on a dangerous shot by Francisco Seco in the 82nd minute. Felix Wallin was shown his second yellow card after 82 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, IFK Stockholm's Felix Wallin got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Francisco Seco in the 84thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dries Ramps, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Francisco Seco came free with the goalkeeper in the 86th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Dries Ramps could save by the left post. Francisco Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dries Ramps having to interfere. A collision led to IFK Stockholm getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Nils Gullesson hit a great ball. Uruguay played a much better game than IFK Stockholm and deserved their victory. The IFK Stockholm players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
