Turgut Turgut sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. If Turgut Turgut had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Venezuela's Rigoberto Mina managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Aytuğ İlsak in the 14 minute of the game. Turgut Turgut scored 1-0 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Gold Raiders FC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Venegas didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Ovidiu Buturugã came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Gold Raiders FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ovidiu Buturugã couldn't finish the play. 24 minutes into the match, Turgut Turgut dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant, 2-0. In the 29th minute Turgut Turgut shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Turgut Turgut in the 30th minute. Jonathan Ferrant was a little too slow when Turgut Turgut got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 34th minute. The score was now 3-0. Cuma Dilazad was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. If Ertaç Budak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. Turgut Turgut blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. In the 59th minute Turgut Turgut shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Turgut Turgut in the 71st minute of play. Gold Raiders FC were awarded a corner in the 72th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ovidiu Buturugã took the corner. 75 minutes into the game, Gold Raiders FC's Turgut Turgut nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. When Turgut Turgut came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Gold Raiders FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Turgut Turgut couldn't finish the play. If Turgut Turgut had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 84 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Turgut Turgut came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Turgut Turgut kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Turgut Turgut, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd minute, Ertaç Budak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Gold Raiders FC had played much better football throughout.
