Eliodor Hâjdău made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After 16 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Ocampo. Hamit Aysan made in the 18th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Peder Harlén immediately put the ball in play. Eliodor Hâjdău took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moises Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd minute Sebastian Villa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliodor Hâjdău saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 46 minutes into the game, Albano Francho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. YR☆ Village Superstars's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Honduras the free kick. After 47 played minutes Edmundo Espiga shot from long distance. It became 2-1 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Honduras fully deserved thier win.
