Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Axel Tasis made the kick off and thus started the match. Axel Tasis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Eliodor Hâjdău made a huge save. Lautaro Puig recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eduard Zgondea's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduard Zgondea in the 14th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eliseo Noboa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eliodor Hâjdău having to make a save. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Eduard Zgondea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. Axel Tasis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Eliodor Hâjdău tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Göran Klack during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Göran Klack hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Eliodor Hâjdău showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Tasis, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Eliodor Hâjdău didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 43rd minute, which inside left pole to 1-2. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduard Zgondea in the 47th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Eliseo Noboa struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Eliodor Hâjdău didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Costa Rica. Aaron Alcocer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Eliodor Hâjdău tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lautaro Puig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benito Sanz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Calistrat Enoiu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 58 minute of play. When Lautaro Puig fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Lautaro Puig a yellow card for diving instead. After 60 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Lautaro Puig. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Alan Moruga hit a great ball. After 64 played minutes, YR☆ Village Superstars's Evert Ahlén shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Benito Sanz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in YR☆ Village Superstars reached it. After 70 minutes of play YR☆ Village Superstars's Göran Klack was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Peder Harlén fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. Eliodor Hâjdău stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Axel Tasis's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. After 78 minutes, Calistrat Enoiu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the YR☆ Village Superstars and the Costa Rica players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 79th minute, Calistrat Enoiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Lautaro Puig managed to get in a good position for a shot. Costa Rica's supporters rose to their feet, but Lautaro Puig was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eliodor Hâjdău breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in YR☆ Village Superstars's zone, Axel Tasis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eliodor Hâjdău came out of the goal and Axel Tasis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 83 minutes, Lautaro Puig managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Costa Rica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lautaro Puig was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 91st minute, Axel Tasis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Axel Tasis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eliodor Hâjdău read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. After 94 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Axel Tasis. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Costa Rica from getting a goal against them. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. YR☆ Village Superstars had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
