The supporters of CeNDeRe T.K. booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Andino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ali Faruk Akbora read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. In the 33rd minute Lauder Fulton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lauder Fulton in the 35th minute of the match. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. 72 minutes into the game, Haluk Akmanoğlu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CeNDeRe T.K.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. In the 72nd match minute, CeNDeRe T.K. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Haluk Akmanoğlu to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the CeNDeRe T.K. defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ali Faruk Akbora. The CeNDeRe T.K. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ali Faruk Akbora should have stopped the shot. Camilo Gisbert hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Lauder Fulton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 82nd minute, Çeliker Tanak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Ali Faruk Akbora tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 93 minutes into the match, Lauder Fulton had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lauder Fulton was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. CeNDeRe T.K. were victorious despite being under pressure from Ecuador for much of the match.
