José Paulo Passos lost his temper 37 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 36 minutes into the game, one of De hijgende Hertjes:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Honduras a penalty, 39 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Edmundo Espiga, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of De hijgende Hertjes's Kevin Zilverberg. 1-3. A collision led to De hijgende Hertjes getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. King Sputore hit a great ball. 45 minutes into the game, Isac Dichiseanu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. De hijgende Hertjes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Honduras the free kick. Disappointed in the 2-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edmundo Espiga was the one to do the kick off. The throw-in from Leendert Zuurman in the 57th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Honduras's Valentín Carvallo. Honduras's attentive Valentín Carvallo managed to snatch the ball when Leendert Zuurman made a throw-in in the 60th minute of the game. 61 minutes into the match, Sebastian Villa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kevin Zilverberg. De hijgende Hertjes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sebastian Villa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. 64 minutes into the match, De hijgende Hertjes's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Kevin Zilverberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 81st play minutes Edmundo Espiga shot 4-3, a short shot which went by Kevin Zilverberg and just under the crossbar into goal. King Sputore hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in De hijgende Hertjes's zone, Edmundo Espiga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kevin Zilverberg came out of the goal and Edmundo Espiga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A sloppy throw-in by Leendert Zuurman in the 89th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Honduras's Valentín Carvallo. A collision led to De hijgende Hertjes getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. King Sputore hit a great ball. In the 92nd minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kevin Zilverberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
