Stamatis Leontiou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 8th minute of play. When Ecuador's Daniel Zorita in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye RO Army V55's goalie prevented a goal. 11 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of RO Army V55's Stamatis Leontiou. Stamatis Leontiou was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 16th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stamatis Leontiou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Ecuador fans' excitement grew in the 18th match minute when Ecuador's Daniel Zorita looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 21 minutes into the game, Camilo Gisbert threw the ball into play from the sideline. RO Army V55's Fanis Katsiaounis quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 26 minutes into the game, Fanis Kapernekas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. RO Army V55's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. Fanis Kapernekas hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Stamatis Leontiou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Montenegro in the 28th minute of play. Agustín Saelices scored 0-4 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stamatis Leontiou, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 32 minutes in the game Camilo Gisbert did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Luis Andino. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 35th minute of play forced RO Army V55's goalkeeper Stamatis Leontiou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Stamatis Leontiou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stamatis Leontiou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Montenegro in the 38th minute of the match. When Felix Montes came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felix Montes couldn't finish the play. Cristian Sancho scored 0-5 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stamatis Leontiou, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Andino in the 52nd minute of play forced RO Army V55's goalkeeper Stamatis Leontiou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. RO Army V55's Stamatis Leontiou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 54th minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, RO Army V55's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but Stamatis Leontiou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Juan Sebastián Puig kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Stamatis Leontiou. That made the score 0-6 in the 57 minute of play. In the 61st play minute Daniel Zorita came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Stamatis Leontiou. 0-7. After 67 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montenegro. 71 minutes into the match, RO Army V55's goal looked a bit too open when Agustín Saelices came free, but Stamatis Leontiou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 72nd minute by Daniel Zorita got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 73rd play minutes Cristian Sancho shot 0-8, a short shot which went by Stamatis Leontiou and just under the crossbar into goal. RO Army V55's Pavlos Pantelakis managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Felix Montes in the 77 minute of the game. With his leg Stamatis Leontiou managed to avoid a goal in the 79thth minute, when Ecuador's Felix Montenegro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Luis Andino took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stamatis Leontiou. Stamatis Leontiou dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-9. With a little luck, RO Army V55's Stamatis Leontiou got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Stamatis Leontiou made a huge save. RO Army V55's defense didn't have a chance, in the 88th minute, when Luis Andino scored to the left of an out of position Stamatis Leontiou, making the score, 0-10. The crowd rose to their feet as Daniel Zorita kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Stamatis Leontiou. That made the score 0-11 in the 92 minute of play. The supporters of RO Army V55 booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agustín Saelices didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
