With a little luck, Panama's Marcos Cotilla got control of the ball when Olcay Bozkurt tried to sneak it across the goal line. The throw-in from Abraham Alguacil in the 20th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by RO Army V55's Demis Grigoriadis. RO Army V55 were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after Panama's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Demis Grigoriadis took the corner. Demis Grigoriadis made a great header on RO Army V55's corner, it was just that Panama's Marcos Cotilla managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 23rd minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandros Iordanidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Demis Grigoriadis in the 26th minute of play. The Panama fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcos Cotilla should have stopped the shot. A collision led to RO Army V55 getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Iosif Cupșa hit a great ball. After 40 minutes, Isidoro Sarmiento mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Panama and the RO Army V55 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Isidoro Sarmiento hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. In the 41st minute of the match Demis Grigoriadis sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcos Cotilla skillfully saved the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Olcay Bozkurt in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcos Cotilla prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 46 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Panama! Marcos Cotilla went to the wrong direction when Demis Grigoriadis was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Olcay Bozkurt was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute of the match RO Army V55 got a corner. Panama's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Demis Grigoriadis ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Demis Grigoriadis got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Marcos Cotilla quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vinícius Junior in the 58th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Iosif Cupșa notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Panama's Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dylan Sarmiento hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. RO Army V55's Giorgos Kalantas was substituted for Zhao Xun Jun. RO Army V55's Edgardo Ugutz was substituted for Olcay Bozkurt. In the 68th minute, Dylan Sarmiento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 4-0 became the score in the 71st minute when Iosif Cupșa elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Marcos Cotilla didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vinícius Junior went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgardo Ugutz in the 77th minute of play. Vinícius Junior scored 6-0 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcos Cotilla, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of RO Army V55 booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felipe Ros didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 84th minute of the match, Edgardo Ugutz sent away a good long shot that could have become a goal, but Marcos Cotilla showed an example of his skillful tending and made the save just under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vinícius Junior in the 85th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87th minute, Abraham Alguacil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. RO Army V55 fully deserved thier win.
