Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Vinícius Junior sent off a good shot on target. But to his dismay, Edgardo Ugutz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 12-0. In the 81stth minute of the game Edgardo Ugutz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Costa Rica's Benito Sanz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 14-0. The audience was convinced that Edgardo Ugutz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Sanz was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 94 minutes, the score became 15-0 when Edgardo Ugutz sped through Costa Rica's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benito Sanz.
