Julio Vera came out of the goal and Abel Campidelis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Horácio Teixeira. Horácio Teixeira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After a rather tough play, 『盛世メ名門』MZ TOMAR NO C∩ ™'s Ronaldinho Paes got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 87th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. 『盛世メ名門』MZ TOMAR NO C∩ ™'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ecuador were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
