Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benjamin Bender during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Benjamin Bender hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Winthont FC's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fokke Bergman came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tjeerd Jonkman hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. In the 11th minute, Tjeerd Jonkman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fokke Bergman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 13th minute, Wesley Baatenburg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eelco Neijsen in the 16th minute of play. Fokke Bergman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fokke Bergman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the match, Winthont FC's Meindert de Gooijer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 30th minute Eelco Neijsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st minute of the match Winthont FC got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eelco Neijsen ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 33 minutes, Eelco Neijsen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Winthont FC and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Winthont FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Eelco Neijsen hit a great ball. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fokke Bergman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fokke Bergman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eelco Neijsen in the 43rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Julio Vera, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Winthont FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eelco Neijsen to strike the kick off in the second half. Daniel Zorita came free with the goalkeeper in the 53rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Fokke Bergman could save by the left post. Cristian Sancho succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-2 in the 54th playminute. Fokke Bergman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 59th minute. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fokke Bergman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roelof Pietersma during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Fokke Bergman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 72nd minute of play. In the 74th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fokke Bergman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Fokke Bergman in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fokke Bergman came out and tried to block the shot, but Cristian Sancho slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 80th minute. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fokke Bergman having to interfere. When Ecuador's Cristian Sancho in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Winthont FC's goalie prevented a goal. Daniel Zorita who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 89thth minute tested the skills of Fokke Bergman when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 91 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Zorita. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
