Venezuela's defense didn't have a chance, in the 7th minute, when Shao Yang Ming scored to the left of an out of position Jonathan Ferrant, making the score, 1-0. Venezuela's defense didn't have a chance, in the 11th minute, when Shao Yang Ming scored to the left of an out of position Jonathan Ferrant, making the score, 2-0. In the 15th minute Venezuela were awarded a corner. Tomas Illescas went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Jose Correa got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Holger Ålberg quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 18 minutes into the match, Real Edebäck FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Holger Ålberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Holger Ålberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 20th minute of the match. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Alex Chicote hit a great ball. The supporters of Real Edebäck FC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Mariano didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Peter Utter came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Real Edebäck FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Peter Utter couldn't finish the play. In the 29th minute of the match, Joseph Drewitz tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jonathan Ferrant saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Roger Jakobsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Roger Jakobsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rigoberto Mina kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 44th minute of play forced Real Edebäck FC's goalkeeper Holger Ålberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Real Edebäck FC getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Eddie Hedström hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Roger Jakobsson made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roger Jakobsson in the 55th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Patricio Costa came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patricio Costa couldn't finish the play. After having played for 73 minutes, Aldo Lusi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Edebäck FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aldo Lusi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 75th minute, Shao Yang Ming hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Holger Ålberg having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 77th minute of play forced Real Edebäck FC's goalkeeper Holger Ålberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Alex Chicote hit a great ball. Guillermo Mariano kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Roger Jakobsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Holger Ålberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 91st minute of play. In the 93rd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. There was no doubt that Real Edebäck FC were the better team. Real Edebäck FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
