Edmundo Espiga received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. 石坚斌 came out and tried to block the shot, but Edmundo Espiga slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 18th minute. In the 23rd minute, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind 石坚斌. 石坚斌 yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 肖誉洋, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 陶西坚 in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lautaro Navarro saved Honduras from getting behind. In the 37th match minute, 东莞新世纪 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 龙杰沙 to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in 东莞新世纪's zone, Edmundo Espiga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 石坚斌 came out of the goal and Edmundo Espiga tried to chip the ball over his head. Lautaro Navarro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If 肖誉洋 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. This was a shot which ended in a score of 4-3. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Honduras fully deserved thier win.
