Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) 2 minutes into the game, Czeslaw Lisewski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Super Team's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. In the 2nd match minute, Super Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Czeslaw Lisewski to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 3 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Toader Purcărete took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Ecuador's Daniel Zorita in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Super Team's goalie prevented a goal. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Toader Purcărete showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 13th minute of the match. Hüseyin Kakisim might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hüseyin Kakisim ran back to his position shaking his head. Hüseyin Kakisim came free with the goalkeeper in the 15th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Julio Vera could save by the left post. Toader Purcărete made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Montenegro in the 23rd minute of play. Agustín Saelices blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Toader Purcărete having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hüseyin Kakisim in the 35th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Montes to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th minute, Laércio Barbosa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Damian Mercescu struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Super Team. 42 minutes into the match, Super Team's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Toader Purcărete reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. It was a well-played corner which Felix Montes managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hüseyin Kakisim was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Super Team's Toader Purcărete got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Super Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciprian Romaşcanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 61st minute of play forced Super Team's goalkeeper Toader Purcărete to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 63 minutes into the match, Super Team's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but Toader Purcărete reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hüseyin Kakisim in the 64th minute of play. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Toader Purcărete tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 71 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Marius Gherghe came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Daniel Zorita kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Toader Purcărete. That made the score 0-1 in the 73 minute of play. Toader Purcărete made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 76th minute of play. After 80 played minutes Super Team got a freekick which was hit by Marius Gherghe. The Super Team fans' excitement grew in the 84th match minute when Super Team's Hüseyin Kakisim looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Toader Purcărete was a little too slow when Daniel Zorita got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 92nd minute. The score was now 1-2. After having played for 96 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Super Team throughout the match.
