Remigio Bizi hit a great ball. 19 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Ismael Gumaro came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Venancio Geleberto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Orlando Casaus made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 24thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Venancio Geleberto would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Chile's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mariano Lacasa in the 25th minute. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Faustino Luar, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Orlando Casaus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 32 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Venancio Geleberto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 35th minute Ismael Gumaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thiago Pliego stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Faustino Luar's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Los Del Kllejon FC's Siegfried Knubel got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Los Del Kllejon FC's goalkeeper Venancio Geleberto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Remigio Bizi hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Los Del Kllejon FC's Romeo Eleder was substituted for Faustino Luar. After 48 played minutes Los Del Kllejon FC got a freekick which was hit by Remigio Bizi. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Algot Sundin to strike the kick off in the second half. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Algot Sundin in the 56th minute of play. Romeo Eleder in the 67thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Thiago Pliego, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Orlando Casaus blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Venancio Geleberto having to make a save. After 73 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Los Del Kllejon FC!
