Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Kim Lekberg made the kick off which started today's match. Dochko Rodev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Mina, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Dochko Rodev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseo Mina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kim Lekberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. With a little luck, Peru's Rolando Noboa got control of the ball when Kim Lekberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rolando Noboa made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Kim Lekberg sent off a good shot on target. In the 19th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dochko Rodev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Club Atletico Los Andes's Dochko Rodev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 19th minute of play. Kaj Skager fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Noboa having to interfere. 26 minutes into the game, Kaj Skager recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rolando Noboa. Kaj Skager showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After taking down the ball on Club Atletico Los Andes's corner Tomáš Lamačka fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rolando Noboa quite easily take care of the ball. Luz Tejedor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dochko Rodev having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 41st minute of play forced Club Atletico Los Andes's goalkeeper Dochko Rodev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dochko Rodev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Milagros Fraga, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. When Julian Murillo came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Peru fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julian Murillo couldn't finish the play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Julian Murillo was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Los Andes's Tomáš Lamačka sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rolando Noboa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Club Atletico Los Andes defense, Luz Tejedor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dochko Rodev. The Club Atletico Los Andes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dochko Rodev should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julian Murillo in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dochko Rodev prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Julian Murillo struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Dochko Rodev didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peru. 60 minutes into the game, Fulgencio Eguerdi threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Alonso Berganza quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Kim Lekberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rolando Noboa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. In the 64th minute of the match Club Atletico Los Andes got a corner. Peru's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomáš Lamačka ran over to the corner to take the kick. A collision led to Club Atletico Los Andes getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Gervasio Hitz hit a great ball. After having played for 71 minutes, Kim Lekberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atletico Los Andes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kim Lekberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kim Lekberg in the 76th minute of play. After 78 minutes of play, Peru's Eliseo Mina made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dochko Rodev was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Peru getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Anthony Alvarado hit a great ball. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. The supporters of Club Atletico Los Andes booed when Peru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anthony Alvarado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rafael Gallo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Los Andes's Orlando Inautzi got a free kick in the 91st minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Rafael Gallo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dochko Rodev. That made the score 1-3 in the 95 minute of play. When the match was over Peru could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Club Atletico Los Andes throughout the match.
