In the 3rd minute Levente Pucheli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Zádori in the 4th minute of play. Vendel Sass took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vendel Sass showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 8th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vendel Sass having to interfere. In the 16th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vendel Sass saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Levente Pucheli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vendel Sass took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vendel Sass having to interfere. When Ecuador's Daniel Zorita in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lengyeltóti Örömfoci SE's goalie prevented a goal. The Ecuador fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when Ecuador's Daniel Zorita looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Alex Zádori struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lengyeltóti Örömfoci SE. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Zádori in the 29th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Lengyeltóti Örömfoci SE's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Vendel Sass reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 33rd minute. Vendel Sass made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Montenegro in the 34th minute of play. After having played for 39 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Lengyeltóti Örömfoci SE's zone, Agustín Saelices stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vendel Sass came out of the goal and Agustín Saelices tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. After 50 played minutes Lengyeltóti Örömfoci SE got a freekick which was hit by Levente Pucheli. Vendel Sass made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Lengyeltóti Örömfoci SE's Vendel Sass proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Lengyeltóti Örömfoci SE from getting a goal against them. 57 minutes into the match, Lengyeltóti Örömfoci SE's goalkeeper Vendel Sass had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. In the 58th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Lengyeltóti Örömfoci SE's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Vendel Sass despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gedeon Fenyves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Márton Tököli kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Levente Pucheli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vendel Sass made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felix Montenegro in the 70th minute. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vendel Sass having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alex Zádori in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. A collision led to Lengyeltóti Örömfoci SE getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Csaba Nyitrai hit a great ball. In the 81st minute Alex Zádori shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Zádori in the 83rd minute of the match. Márton Tököli kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. 94 minutes into the match, Lengyeltóti Örömfoci SE's goalkeeper Vendel Sass had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho.
