The GLADIADORES fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andrei Cerbu should have stopped the shot. A collision led to GLADIADORES getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Erasmo Zanette hit a great ball. In the 13th minute, Julian Murillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Johannes Stein made in the 19th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Sérgio Donato immediately put the ball in play. Andrei Cerbu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Anacleto Rozarius could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. César Souto charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anacleto Rozarius made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Julian Murillo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Andrei Cerbu. GLADIADORES's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julian Murillo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. With a little luck, GLADIADORES's Andrei Cerbu got control of the ball when Rafael Gallo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Peru's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
