Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horácio Godoi in the 11th minute of play. 13 minutes into the game, Gomaa Hamdy cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Joaquin Gayoso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 21 minutes into the game, بني سويف's Felice Di Luca nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joaquin Gayoso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Felice Di Luca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Felice Di Luca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Joaquin Gayoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felice Di Luca in the 40th minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 41 minutes Uruguay's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Laureano Gómez who took care of the corner kick. Laureano Gómez made a great header on بني سويف's corner, it was just that Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso managed to reach the ball for a save. Laureano Gómez scored 0-4 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joaquin Gayoso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Horácio Godoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laureano Gómez in the 67th minute of play. In the 69th match minute, بني سويف was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ingmar Lang to maneuver through the defense. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Uruguay from getting a goal against them. 81 minutes into the match, بني سويف's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Seco came free, but Krzysztof Dubiel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Laureano Gómez in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joaquin Gayoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Uruguay's zone, Horácio Godoi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal and Horácio Godoi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Felice Di Luca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Gayoso having to interfere.
