The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Simos Seretis during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 5th minute, Simos Seretis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gladiator FC's Gustaf Albohm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 8th minute of play. Julian Murillo took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gustaf Albohm. Gustaf Albohm dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 26 minutes into the match, Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlo Taranto. In the 32nd minute Gladiator FC were awarded a corner. Michael-Elvis Flumian went to the cornerflag to take it. Rolando Noboa made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Konstantin Butylin sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Murillo in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gustaf Albohm saved Gladiator FC from getting behind. 42 minutes in the game Téo Freitas did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Carlo Taranto. In the 46th minute Carlo Taranto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luisão Tepedino in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rolando Noboa saved Peru from getting behind. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Konstantin Butylin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gustaf Albohm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luz Tejedor, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Gladiator FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 55th minute, when Julian Murillo scored to the left of an out of position Gustaf Albohm, making the score, 0-2. In the 58th minute Carlo Taranto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gustaf Albohm read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlo Taranto in the 64th minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, Gladiator FC's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Gustaf Albohm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gustaf Albohm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Gustaf Albohm made an important save on a dangerous shot by Julian Murillo in the 71st minute. 75 minutes into the game, Julian Murillo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Gustaf Albohm was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Julian Murillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gustaf Albohm was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. 87 minutes into the match, Milagros Fraga dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gustaf Albohm, 0-4. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. After having played for 94 minutes, Eliseo Mina managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eliseo Mina was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 96thth minute of the game Vaggelis Mitsiou who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Peru's Rolando Noboa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Peru's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
