When Abram Luque fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Ricardo Zorita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bálint Sándor in the 31st minute of the match. Marco Tamayo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Mihály Gera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Moises Fernandino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Moises Fernandino took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mihály Gera. Mihály Gera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Moises Fernandino struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Mihály Gera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Salvador. 58 minutes into the game, Luis Rubio threw the ball into play from the sideline. Szentgotthárd's Gábor Sebestyén quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Bálint Sándor did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-2 to the left of a surprised Ricardo Zorita 61 minutes into the match. Szentgotthárd's Gábor Sebestyén managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Valentino Ferrant in the 65 minute of the game. Mateo Leguizamo made in the 67th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Moises Fernandino immediately put the ball in play. Attila Saághy charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Attila Saághy the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 68th match minute, Szentgotthárd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Attila Saághy to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moises Fernandino in the 68th minute of play forced Szentgotthárd's goalkeeper Mihály Gera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Márton Fehér lost his temper 71 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mateo Leguizamo couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Moises Fernandino in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mihály Gera saved Szentgotthárd from getting behind. Abram Luque fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mihály Gera having to interfere. Jorge Magrina made in the 80th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Abram Luque however managed to control. If Benjámin Zádori had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Szentgotthárd's attentive Ignác Sinkó managed to snatch the ball when Luis Rubio made a throw-in in the 92nd minute of the game. Szentgotthárd's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
