Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but 方西烽 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. After 26 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gaos. 29 minutes into the match, 楚松川 had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that 楚松川 was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Jonathan Ferrant was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but 郭坚明 showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 35 minute of play. 麦耀阳 charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, 楚松川 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and 楚松川 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 85th minute 郭坚明 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 楚松川 in the 90th minute of the match. 楚松川 scored 6-0 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
