Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Felix Johans started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a defensive mix-up in Sentimiento Auriazul's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mihail Stroia came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Through an outstanding action, after 8 minutes, Julio Vera successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 9 minutes into the game, Felix Johans cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Felix Johans could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Sentimiento Auriazul were awarded a corner in the 13th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luisito Behe took the corner. In the 15th match minute, Sentimiento Auriazul was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lázaro Mel to maneuver through the defense. 15 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Sentimiento Auriazul's Mihail Stroia. Mihail Stroia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 18th minute of play forced Sentimiento Auriazul's goalkeeper Mihail Stroia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Felix Johans sent off a good shot on target. In the 22nd minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mihail Stroia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mihail Stroia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 23 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Sentimiento Auriazul's Mihail Stroia. Mihail Stroia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 25th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mihail Stroia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27thth minute of the game Fernando Fidanza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felix Johans in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 36 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Fidanza came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luisito Behe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Johans got free with Julio Vera in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

54 minutes into the match, Sentimiento Auriazul's goalkeeper Mihail Stroia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Mihail Stroia in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Mihail Stroia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 72 minutes into the game, Fernando Fidanza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Sentimiento Auriazul's Luisito Behe got a free kick in the 74th minute. With his leg Mihail Stroia managed to avoid a goal in the 75thth minute, when Ecuador's Daniel Zorita fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Mihail Stroia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Mihail Stroia in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Sentimiento Auriazul's goalkeeper Mihail Stroia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guillermo Dalmu in the 85th minute of play. In the 86th minute, Luis Andino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mihail Stroia was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-5. Cristian Sancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mihail Stroia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Sancho ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Felix Johans in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
