Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) FC LauB's Mario Mendez started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. FC LauB's Rutger Danielsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 2nd minute of play. In the 6th minute, Tomas Berganza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Panama fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 10th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Barrios to maneuver through the defense. 12 minutes into the match, Panama's Abraham Alguacil sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rutger Danielsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mario Mendez in the 14th minute of the match. If Tomas Berganza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 17 minutes into the game, Oriche Rotges was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC LauB's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Panama the free kick. In the 17th minute, Oriche Rotges hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pascual Markel's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Marcos Cotilla firmly grabbed it by the left post. 21 minutes into the game, Pascual Markel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Marcos Cotilla was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pascual Markel got free with Marcos Cotilla in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pascual Markel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcos Cotilla read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. FC LauB's Augusto da Cunha was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Marcos Cotilla in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Tomas Berganza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Rutger Danielsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC LauB's goalkeeper Rutger Danielsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Panama's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Abraham Alguacil in the 40th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Ander Lepist kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marcos Cotilla. That made the score 2-1 in the 44 minute of play. Marcos Cotilla made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pascual Markel in the 48th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Berganza was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Miralles to maneuver through the defense. Tomas Berganza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rutger Danielsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yao Jing Zhen in the 62nd minute of play. A collision led to FC LauB getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Ander Lepist hit a great ball. In the 69th minute, Isidoro Sarmiento got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With an all-out effort, Panama's Rutger Danielsson threw himself towards the right post 71 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tomas Berganza, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pascual Markel in the 75th minute of play. With a little luck, FC LauB's Rutger Danielsson got control of the ball when Abraham Alguacil tried to sneak it across the goal line. Abraham Alguacil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pascual Markel during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Pascual Markel kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. After 88 played minutes FC LauB got a freekick which was hit by Pascual Markel. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 95th minute of play forced FC LauB's goalkeeper Rutger Danielsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to FC LauB getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Augusto da Cunha hit a great ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC LauB fans cheered their team off the field, for while Panama had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
