Uruguay's defense didn't have a chance, in the 27th minute, when Folke Fors scored to the left of an out of position Joaquin Gayoso, making the score, 6-0. Alberto Gisbert struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Rasim Yüce didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uruguay. Francisco Seco kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Halil Can Çiftçi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 33rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Joaquin Gayoso. Uruguay's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Ahmet İlke Trabzonlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The throw-in from 石辰桦 in the 39th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Uruguay's Arturo Carvallo. Rasim Yüce made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Seco in the 40th minute of play. Joaquin Gayoso was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Folke Fors showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 8-0 in the 42 minute of play. Kevin Carballal was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 45 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 8-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Francisco Seco to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Folke Fors notched a goal, 9-0, to the right of Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso. Folke Fors sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 62 minutes into the game, Halit Ziya Rahmet was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. İslam republic fc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Uruguay the free kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Maximiliano Escribano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Uruguay's supporters rose to their feet, but Maximiliano Escribano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rasim Yüce breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francisco Seco got free with Rasim Yüce in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 91 minutes, Halil Can Çiftçi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the İslam republic fc and the Uruguay players grew even worse after the yellow card. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. İslam republic fc were victorious despite being under pressure from Uruguay for much of the match.
