Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Green Madness's Philippe Wartel started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Johnny Berthod during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 5th match minute, Green Madness was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Johnny Berthod to maneuver through the defense. Moises Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luis Devillers having to interfere. When the match clock showed 13 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Philippe Wartel sped through Honduras's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lautaro Navarro. In the 17th minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis Devillers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lautaro Navarro made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Philippe Wartel sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 23rd minute of play forced Green Madness's goalkeeper Luis Devillers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernard Rochet kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. After 27 minutes, Tristan Fontana mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Green Madness and the Honduras players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 27 played minutes Green Madness got a freekick which was hit by Tristan Fontana. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Edmundo Espiga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmundo Espiga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luis Devillers breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Green Madness's Luis Devillers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 32nd minute of play. Luis Devillers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 42nd minute of the match. Green Madness's Luis Devillers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 43rd minute of play. In the 46th minute, Noël Saliou hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edmundo Espiga to make the kick off. Green Madness's Noël Saliou got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 57th minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis Devillers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The throw-in from Louison Loth in the 67th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Honduras's Christian Sancho. Bernard Rochet made in the 70th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Johnny Berthod. Johnny Berthod received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Lautaro Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luis Devillers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Villa in the 74th minute of the match. In the 75th minute of the game Louison Loth made a throw-in which Philippe Wartel played forward. After 77 minutes of play, Green Madness's Noël Saliou made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lautaro Navarro was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Edmundo Espiga in the 82nd play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Luis Devillers kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 2-1 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Philippe Wartel struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Lautaro Navarro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Green Madness. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Sebastian Villa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastian Villa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luis Devillers breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Green Madness were victorious despite being under pressure from Honduras for much of the match.
