Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Joel Gaona kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes in the game, Marcelo Abreu dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Mexico's defense didn't have a chance, in the 8th minute, when Marcelo Abreu scored to the left of an out of position Dante Lacasa, making the score, 1-0. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Abreu in the 14th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, ◄19A10► Widzew Łódź's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Meelis Vananurm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20thth minute of the game Alberto Tafalla who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ◄19A10► Widzew Łódź's Meelis Vananurm was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Meelis Vananurm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Facundo Cadaval, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lautaro Mancebo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Meelis Vananurm read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Erubiel Justin in the 27thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dante Lacasa, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 30 minutes into the match, ◄19A10► Widzew Łódź's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Meelis Vananurm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Luca Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Meelis Vananurm. ◄19A10► Widzew Łódź's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Facundo Cadaval managed to get in a good position for a shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maicon Pontes got free with Dante Lacasa in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lautaro Mancebo took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Meelis Vananurm. Meelis Vananurm dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Erubiel Justin to strike the kick off in the second half. ◄19A10► Widzew Łódź's Meelis Vananurm proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save ◄19A10► Widzew Łódź from getting a goal against them. Meelis Vananurm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 63rd minute of play. 64 minutes had been played when some careless play by ◄19A10► Widzew Łódź's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. But to his dismay, Lindi Mena quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. In the 70th minute Lindi Mena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 72 minutes, Slawomir Tyskie mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ◄19A10► Widzew Łódź and the Mexico players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind ◄19A10► Widzew Łódź's goalkeeper Meelis Vananurm, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
